Founded in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2005, Café Grumpy is an independently and women-owned and operated coffee company with an in-house roastery, a wholesale program, beverage line and online subscription serving customers nationwide. What distinguishes Café Grumpy is how their beans are roasted - in small batches on a vintage Probat roaster. Café Grumpy has also thrived by forging close, long-term relationships with the families and individuals who grow their beans throughout South and Central America and East Africa.
