The 2025 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree: From East Greenbush to the Heart of New York City
This holiday season, the Emerald City is taking over Manhattan. In celebration of the highly anticipated release of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good on November 21, Rockefeller Center is inviting visitors to “rejoicify” with a series of limited-time, immersive experiences inspired by the beloved story.
Wicked: For Good at Top of the Rock

67 floors above the city, guests can step into the world of Elphaba and Glinda at the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. The Wicked: For Good Photo Pass offers visitors a chance to capture their moment on The Beam with an exclusive Wicked backdrop and a stunning New York City view. Each pass includes a collectible movie poster available only at Top of the Rock.
Before heading to the top, guests can begin their journey to Oz with a special viewing of the original costumes worn on-screen by the film’s stars, on display just west of the Top of the Rock entrance on 50th Street.
Wicked Skate Nights at The Rink

On the evenings of November 16 through 21, The Rink at Rockefeller Center presented by Chase Freedom transforms into Emerald City on ice, complete with magical pink and green lighting and music from the first film. Visitors presenting a Top of the Rock ticket will receive a special discount on skating admission. This limited-time event brings the wonder of Oz to life, offering a festive moment unlike any other this season.
Family Fun & Ozian LEGO® Installations

Families are invited to a day of Wicked-inspired fun across Rockefeller Center on November 16 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Kids can enjoy a variety of activities, including a coloring station, building an interactive LEGO® mural, and snapping photos at themed photo ops.
Throughout the week, visitors can also explore large-scale Ozian LEGO® installations that bring some of the film’s most enchanting scenes and characters to life.
Guests with Top of the Rock passes receive priority access to all activities.
