Following seven successful years in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Rough Trade's Rockefeller Center location is just steps from the iconic Radio City Music Hall.
Since opening its first NYC store in 2013, Rough Trade has followed in the footsteps of an illustrious list of iconic New York record stores, from Bobby Robinson’s Bobby’s Records, The Commodore Music Shop, Time Square Records, Record Mart, Disc-O-Mat, Crazy Eddie’s, Record Explosion, to Midnight Records, Venus Records, Rocks in Your Head, 99 Record, Other Music, Pantasia, and many more.
Now with an expanded second location at Rockefeller Center, the original Rough Trade storefront has become known as Rough Trade Above, keeping and expanding its focus on new vinyl records.
The newest location located on the Rink Level, Rough Trade Below, features a large selection of artist/band merch, audio hardware (Bluetooth speakers, turntables, hi-fi separates, etc.) a large used records section, a large CD section (new and used), BluRay movies, collectables, and more.
